- 7:00 am live music featuring the International Superstars of Rock
- 7:30 am 5k warm-up conducted by Linda Taix of Extreme Boot Camp
- 8:00 am 5k run
- 8:45 am warm-up conducted by Dr. Jennifer Levin of Girls on the Run
- 9:00 am Billy's Board Shop Kids Run (1 Mile)
- 9:15 am Awards Ceremony
Where is Memorial Park?
210 West. Exit Angeles Crest Hwy (2). Turn left (head south) on Angeles Crest Hwy. Turn right
on Foothill Blvd. Continue approximately 1/2 mile past Cornishon. Park will be located
on the right.

Where do I park? Parking is free and is located
across the street from Memorial Park and the surrounding streets.
Where is the drop-off site for the canned foods?
Cans are collected from the runners on the day of the race, at Memorial Park, but
cans can also be dropped off in the receptacles located at:

Where do the canned foods go?
We donate
the canned goods to organizations
to help feed the homeless and needy.
What type of canned good is preferred?
Any nonperishable food item will be accepted, but canned "meals" such as soups,
stews, meats, etc. would be preferred.

What is the Community Center Of La Cañada Flintridge?
The Community Center is celebrating its 59th year of operation in La Cañada
Flintridge. Formerly known as the La Cañada Youth House, and the Roger Barkley, it is a low
cost provider of programs offered to the community in areas such as sports, arts,
education and enrichment for all ages.
Who does the "Run For The Hungry" benefit?
The "Run For The Hungry" benefits the Community Center Of La Cañada Flintridge. We also provide
funds to programs like Union Station in Pasadena, Door of Hope and organizations
to help feed the homeless and needy.
Who are past recipients?
Past recipients have included Union Station in Pasadena, Ronald McDonald House,
Glendale Emergency Homeless Shelter, The Alzheimer's Association, Five Acres, Selsian
Boys and Girls Club of Los Angeles, Children's Hospital of Los Angeles, C.I.T.Y
Community Services and many others.
How can "Run For The Hungry" benefit my organization?
If you are an organization who provides shelter, food, clothing, supplies, etc.,
to the homeless and needy, please send an email, letter, or fax request to receive
funds or food to:

What path will the race take?
The out and back course follows Foothill Blvd.starting on the northside of the street
just east of Cornishon Blvd. and west of Chevy Chase Blvd. The race will head westbound
with a slight uphill climb in the beginning, and the runners will execute a u-turn
at Castle. The course heads downhill at the 2.5 mile mark, so runners can expect
excellent finishing times for the race. Runners will go left on La Cañada
Blvd. and the finish line is right before Salisbury Street.
